I have set up my SMS templates to deliver links, this way I don't have to worry about spam filters.

But if I miss clicking this little box or the client orders on line it does not get done then I get texts like this.

Please make this the DEFAULT ASAP.

The CAN-SPAM Act mainly applies to commercial emails, not text messages, but if someone has commissioned your services and text messages are part of how you deliver those services, you’re generally okay to send them as long as they’re relevant to the service they signed up for. Just make sure you notify clients that this is how they get the links to important parts of the process.
