One big problem we struggle with, as a multi-inspector firm, is knowing where all our radon boxes are physically located. We have 10 boxes right now and 3 inspectors. With the 48 hour test required, we have to keep track of how many boxes each inspector has and how many boxes are at customer locations at any given time. When a new customer calls and wants to add a radon test, our office staff has to know if we have an available box to set at a house, who has it, and who can set it. We are constantly juggling boxes around, and we just a big white board to track where each box is at any given time. But the white-board method is a pain.
I know you guys are talking about adding the ability to add the radon order to an inspection order, but have you thought about any tracking feature to keep track of the inventory?
I'm researching equipment/asset tracking software tools now, but would prefer this to be a feature within ISN. We would be willing to pay for this added feature...
