Add rating to a new comment(Desktop Report writer)

If I add a new comment in the desktop report writer and I choose to save it to my template, I'm not able to give it a rating at that point. So, if I want to give it a rating I have to go into the template editor and assign it there. It would be great to assign a rating to a new comment right there in desktop report writer. Thanks!! - Kurt

Kurt - we recently updated the add a comment screen to include ratings. You can now add the comment there with the rating and save it to the template or comment library.

Kurt - Thank you for the additional context. We have some things planned this year that I think will be helpful in this scenario. I will add this request to the requirements and will update you as we get closer.

I add new comments to my report rather frequently since I'm somewhat new at using ISN. I like to assign ratings to my comments so if I'm adding a comment that I would like to save permanently in my template, it would be convenient to be able to do it as I'm writing the comment at the desktop report writer level. Otherwise, I can add my new comment to the template from there BUT I then have to go into the template later and assign a rating. If I forget to do that then I have a comment with no rating and I won't notice until the next time I use that comment which requires me to manually add a rating at the app or desktop report writer level. Hope I'm being clear and making sense. Thanks again!

Thank you for posting, Kurt! I have a few more questions for you:
- What specific benefits do you anticipate from being able to assign a rating directly in the desktop report writer?
- How frequently do you use the rating feature when editing comments in the template editor?
- Are there any other features in the desktop report writer that you feel could be improved or added?
