Improving the app picture taking functionality should be a priority. We need to take most of our photos at wide angle (not offered in the app). Having the flash enabled would also be good. Currently we have to take most of our photos using samsung camera, then add to the report - it is PAINFUL. My top to issues with the app are the camera/photo handling AND the lagging when entering data. Hope both of these can be improved asap - they are the main two reasons I would not be able to recommend this app to other inspectors.

I used to used Home Gauge when I worked for another inspector. With that software I was able to zoom in further than 2x which really helped get better pictures when you can't get in close (like on a roof). I would like to be able to zoom in at least 4x or 5x when taking a picture with ISN.

It is much better than before - thank you. There is still quite a difference in the field of view between the RW 0.5 and the Samsung 0.6 (macro/dedicated lens?).
Wide angle photos are helpful to capture more information in kitchens/bathrooms/tubs etc. Often results in having to take photo on camera roll (at .6) then adding OR taking two photos (one for reference, another for report). I expect it may be a hardware issue where all the devices have differing cameras/lens/etc??

Much improved (vs original) however room to improve further.
The current isn app .5x does not include the same wide angle image that is available on my S23ultra .6x
Consequence is I end up taking many interior photos onto my camera roll then having to import manually/one at a time into the app. We generally try to include photos of each bathroom (including the vanity) and each bath/shower into the report. These tend to benefit from wides/fisheye possible (to show more information).
Appreciate the improvements to date (it has come a long way) however still room to improve.

How do i access/use wide angle? My samsung camera offers .5x/1x/2x. I dont see that in the isn rw app. Here are three photos taken from same spot. First was isn zoomed out. Second/third are samsung camera .5/1x added from camera roll. Samsung images are both offering a greater field of view. The RW image appears to be much closer to the samsung 1x (in the past we estimated that the rw photo was approx 1.4x on the samsung camera. Is it possible to access the other lens .x/wide angle?
