Summary
We need a more efficient, transparent way to manage payroll splits across services. The current workflow is extremely time-consuming and error-prone when managing a large service list.
Current Workflow Issues
Right now, setting payroll splits requires:
Going into settings
Clicking “Add”
Selecting a single service
Setting the percentage
Saving
Repeating this process one service at a time for every inspector.
For companies with large service catalogs (we have ~50 services) and 10-20 inspectors, this becomes very inefficient.
Additional problems:
There is no clear, consolidated view showing which services already have payroll splits assigned
It’s easy to lose track and accidentally add the same service more than once
No bulk edit or bulk assign capability
No visual indicator (checkbox, status column, etc.) showing completion
Any change or correction requires repeating the same 1-by-1 process again
Impact
Significant admin time wasted on repetitive setup
High risk of configuration errors and duplicate entries
Poor scalability for larger inspection companies
Frustrating user experience for payroll and operations staff
Requested Improvements
We’re looking for something along these lines:
A single table/list view of all services with payroll split status visible at a glance
Ability to bulk-assign or bulk-edit payroll percentages across multiple services
Clear indicators showing which services already have splits configured
Prevention of duplicate service entries
Optional “Apply to all services” or “Apply to selected services” functionality
Why This Matters
Payroll splits are a core operational function. As companies scale and service offerings grow, the current workflow does not scale with them. Improving this would save hours of admin time, reduce errors, and significantly improve usability for real-world operations.
