Lindsay G - ISN Product
Hello, we made a change this week because several other companies/customers were asking for the opposite functionality (i.e. that they wanted appointments associated with Unscheduled orders to honor their setting in Settings > Office Settings > Unscheduled Inspections). We'll monitor whether we hear feedback similar to yours about this change. If you'd like to chat on the phone about your workflow, I'd be happy to do that as well! Just let me know here.

Lindsay G - ISN Product Ha. I knew it! Yeah we use this function all the time. More when we are busier I think. I'm not sure of another way around it other than what I mentioned. Added another calendar event NOT in the order.
Thanks for confirming there was indeed a change. :-)

A more solid color would be preferred so any admin can look at the calendar and see that it is scheduled. However the most important thing is for it to show on the inspectors calendar when it is emailed to them.
There are times we need to schedule a radon event or whatever in the unscheduled order and need it done prior to the order being completed. This event needs to show up on the inspectors calendar when it is emailed to them.
I think as long as the color is not faded or a different shade that the unscheduled order/events that would be fine.
I've not had this issue before when doing this prior to today. I will have to add an event (not through the order) so that it will show up on the inspectors calendar now. This is an extra step I will have to remember to make.
So yes making this change will ease my workload and will ensure that things will not be missed.

Thank you for posting, Stacey Fisher! I have a few more questions for you:
- Can you provide more details on how you envision the color differentiation between scheduled and unscheduled events?
- How do you think this change will impact your workflow?
- Are there any other visual indicators you would find helpful in distinguishing between different types of events?
