Third-Party Integration Request: ChatGPT / OpenAI
I would like to request an integration between Inspection Support Network (ISN) and ChatGPT/OpenAI.
Ideally, I would like the integration to allow authorized access to:
* Inspection orders and scheduled appointments
* Property address and property information
* Client and agent information
* Inspection type and selected services
* Appointment date, time, and inspector
* Inspection/order notes
* Payment and agreement status
* Inspection status
* Report information, observations, comments, and narratives where supported
* Uploaded inspection photos/files where supported
* Calendar and scheduling information
I would also be interested in allowing authorized write actions, with appropriate permissions and safeguards, such as:
* Creating or updating inspection orders
* Adding or updating inspection notes
* Updating scheduling information
* Creating client or agent records
* Assisting with inspection report narratives and comments
* Adding or updating report information where supported
* Creating tasks or follow-up items
The goal would be for me to interact with my ISN account conversationally through ChatGPT. For example, I would like to be able to ask:
“Show me my inspections scheduled for tomorrow.”
“Pull up the information for my 10:00 AM inspection.”
“Has the client signed the agreement and paid for tomorrow’s inspection?”
“Summarize the property information and services I am performing before I arrive.”
“Help me clean up the inspection comments from today’s inspection.”
“Show me inspections that still have unsigned agreements or unpaid invoices.”
“Add a note to this inspection order.”
I understand that certain actions may need to remain read-only or require confirmation before ChatGPT is permitted to make changes.
A secure API-based integration using ISN’s existing API and webhook capabilities would be ideal. I would be willing to participate in testing or provide additional information about the workflow if helpful.
This integration could significantly reduce administrative work for home inspectors by combining ISN’s scheduling, order management, and reporting capabilities with an AI assistant.

I own Stonebriar Property Inspections and use ISN as the primary system for managing my inspection business. I would like ISN to support an integration with ChatGPT/OpenAI so ChatGPT can securely access authorized ISN information and help me manage day-to-day operations.
The most useful read-only access would include:
• Inspection orders and appointment details
• Inspector schedule and actual available/open appointment times
• Client and agent information associated with an order
• Property address and inspection details
• Services ordered and inspection fees
• Agreement/signature status
• Payment status
• New, changed, rescheduled and canceled inspections
• Online Scheduler activity, including incomplete or abandoned orders
• Access instructions and other operational information associated with an inspection
My goal is to use ChatGPT as an administrative assistant while keeping ISN as the system of record. For example, ChatGPT could monitor new orders, alert me when an agreement has not been signed or an inspection has not been paid, identify incomplete Online Scheduler orders, help with customer follow-up, and tell me what appointment openings I can safely offer when responding to a new customer.
A particularly important capability is schedule availability. ISN Support has confirmed that there currently is not a report or scheduled email that provides my actual remaining open appointment slots. Access to availability through an integration/API would allow ChatGPT to determine which openings are available while also applying my business rules before suggesting them to customers.
I would prefer to begin with read-only access. Any future capability that changes an appointment, price, service, agreement, payment, or other ISN record should require explicit authorization and appropriate security controls.
I am also interested in using ISN API and webhook capabilities so ChatGPT can be notified when an order is created, updated, signed, paid, rescheduled, canceled, or otherwise changes, rather than repeatedly polling ISN.
Business benefit: This would reduce administrative work, improve response time to prospective customers, reduce missed leads and incomplete bookings, help prevent unsigned/unpaid inspections from being overlooked, and allow me to spend more time performing inspections instead of manually checking multiple systems.
I would be happy to participate in testing or provide additional information about the workflow.
