Input fields

Most other similar apps have multiple kinds of input fields (eg, multiple choice with one selection allowed, multiple choice with multple selections allowed, date, currency, text, etc), each one with customizeable properties (eg. whether or not the field MUST be filled or not, as opposed to optional, length, format, etc.).
For custom templates, the report editor only provides multiple choice data entry, with multiple selections allowed, which is extremely limited. I'd greatly appreciate a better editor - this one is too basic.

Smathisen - thank you for the additional details. Some of these we already have on our to do list for this year. I will look into the others.
ISN Product Management
Hey Smathisen, thanks for your feedback! I have a few more questions for you:
- What specific types of input fields would you find most useful for your needs?
- Can you provide examples of scenarios where the current input options are insufficient?
- Are there any specific customization options for input fields that are particularly important to you?

ISN Product Management
Thanks for asking, generally liking ISN features. I thought a bit about it and came to the conclusion that I only miss a few fields (or properties) from using other apps:
1) A year roller: Inspections involve getting dates (year of manufacture) for a number of things, so a year roller would save a lot of time, especially when building a new template.
2) A numbered roller: Similar to above but with 0 - 100. Useful in many situations when noting numbers of things.
3) Single select only: Disables multi-select. Very useful in many situations, to avoid multiselect (eg: furnace type).
4) Mandatory reply: Field must be full before report can be finalized. Useful in many cases.
Hope this helps. S.
