As I build my template and use it in the app I find that I would like to be able to move sub-sections and place them under different sections. Ex. I created a sub- section called "interior electric" which I originally placed under my "Interiors" section. However, I might want to move that entire sub-section, with all of it's comments under my "Electrical" section to keep all electrical in one section. In order to do that now I would have to recreate that entire sub-section(copy/paste/retype) under another section. ALSO, I might want to create other templates and it would be great to be able to send single comments or entire sections from my main template to other templates. This can be done in Spectora. You can copy(duplicate) or send any comment, information or section to any template you wish. **As I build my template and add comments it gets increasingly harder to make changes. I don't always put things in the right places at first but I don't know that until I use it a couple of times in the app(field) so it would be great to be able to move things around and fine tune my report.

It would be nice to be able to duplicate a comment and add it to a line in a different category. For example. Say I have commented that in the interior walls section - it would be nice to duplicate this line, and then move it to say the bathroom section.

It would be very helpful if I could copy and move sections of my template to other sections and even to other templates. My main template is turning out to be a little over complicated and I want to move sections under other sections to consolidate and streamline my report. It's not convenient to have to copy and paste one comment at a time. Thanks! - Kurt

- What specific sections or sub-sections do you frequently need to move or copy?
- How often do you find yourself needing to reorganize your templates in this way?
- Are there any specific templates or types of reports where this feature would be most beneficial?

Janaya Fix - Product Management Quite often and it would be great to be able to move or copy any and all sections and sub-sections and comments around to different sections. Example: I have my main home inspection template that I build and add comments to but I have also made a template for ADUs that is stripped down a little bit. However, if I add a comment to my main template I might want to add that comment to ADU and Guest house or Condo templates as well. Also, as I use my template more and more I decide I want to change things around and combine sub-sections like the electrical example I gave above. Sometimes I write a comment in a section and decide I'd like to move it somewhere else or copy it to several sections and other templates. Currently, I can grab a comment and drag it to the top of the list. I'd like to drag it to different sections if that makes more sense. In Spectora you can do everything I've outlined..

ALSO, When I create a comment, either in the template writer or the report writer, I would like to be able to assign a rating at that point. Currently, I create a comment then I have to go back to it in the template writer later to assign the rating. If I create a comment in the report writer, as I'm writing a report, and click "save to template" it does not let me assign a rating. I have to remember what that comment was and go into the template writer, find it, and assign a rating. So, because I forget to do that I have a bunch of comments with no rating when I write a report. I have to write down which comments to fix and go into the template writer to assign the rating. Please give us the option to assign a rating at the point of creating the comment both in the template writer and in the report writer. I hope that makes sense..

Copy items from one category to another category

Currently the report writer editor does not allow the user to copy an item from one category to a different category. For example the benefit of copying items from one category to another is that the can have the same list of manufacturers copied from the Water Heater category to the Pluming without having to manually create it again [image reference attached]

1) not often of course, but as the need arises. This comes from the want to convert the water heater line in the plumbing category into a category. Until that feature is available, I would needt to build it manually which would be very time consuming and challenging. Copying or dragging the various parts from the line to the category would be appreciated

- Can you provide more details about how often you need to copy items from one category to another?
- Are there any specific features you would like to see in the copy function?
- Would you find it useful to have the ability to copy multiple items at once, or is copying one item at a time sufficient?

jaredhollander - we are working on a concept of a global comment library where you can access the same comment as many times as you want. Would that suffice for this request?
