partial payment

When we do new build 2 phase inspections they pay half up front and the 2nd half at the final walk through. Is there a way to allow for the partial payment without having to make two complete separate orders for one client?

Umbrella System for
D
DaNay Ross
Incorporate an umbrella system for organizing inspection types and services. This system should allow for a main inspection type to encompass multiple phases, each relevant at different stages of the order or building process. Each main inspection type would serve as a parent category, with various sub-phases nested under it, reflecting specific steps in the inspection timeline.
For example, a NEW Construction Package could be designated as a main inspection type, and under this umbrella, different inspections would occur at various stages, such as:
- Pre-Dry-Wall Inspection
- Final Inspection
- Final Inspection with Blue Tape
- Eleven Month Warranty Inspection
- Repair Verification
- Blue Tape
Each phase would have its own defined duration, varying from 1 to 6 hours, depending on the specific requirements at that stage. This structured approach would streamline the scheduling and management of inspections throughout the construction process.

Phase inspection scheduling

We do a fair amount of phase inspections. This entails a third party hiring us and we do phase/progress inspections on commercial or home. Depending on the job size there can be an inspection every month or quarter. I was hoping to be able to schedule a master inspection and be able to add the progress inspections under the initial inspection made. This would be beneficial because we have to have site contact, third party contact and the GC's information within the order for our inspectors. By having a master inspection this would eliminate having to add in everyone contact in each specific order. I hope this makes as much sense in my head as it does on paper!

akissee: Yes, we have your feedback documented, Anita. As I mentioned, we need to ask several users how they want this done because everyone uses ISN in a slightly different way.

Yes! This should've been done years ago! We shouldn't have to pay ISN for each phase when it's the same client. With all the wisdom of the developers - I AM the one who created a way to reverse engineer a method to help our numbers be accurate in ISN! GET ON IT!

Hi Adam, this is something we want to build in this fiscal year. Would you be open to having a 30 minute conversation with me sometime to talk about your specific use case? I've already talked with 3-4 other customers about how they'd like it to work so we want to build a solution that can work for everyone.

Lindsay G - ISN Product I hope you all get this feature added really soon. I perform quite a few phased inspections and I always have to go back and find the original inspection to see what pricing and data we had for the framing inspection.

Still have not had luck with getting this added. Any updates coming that would allow for partial payments on an invoice.
