Your APP STILL SUCKS

The ISN APP is subpar at best. From the initial login is a Pia- biometrics doesnt work (works fine with every other app) nor does it auto populate login credentials on iphone, yet logs out all the time. This is annoying because when i need the app I dont need to waste time trying to log in.
Once in, the inspection i am looking for is a PIA to find. Too many steps to locate an inspection, especially if there are multiple for one day.
No contact info for the sellers agent- come on. when this is needed it is because i NEED them ASAP and it is a PIA to locate their contact info.
I have said this stuff last year already and do not see any changes. Tell Porch to go pound sand and focus on why I pay for your services

Adam Cotton - I want to pause for a moment and reset this conversation. I understand you’re frustrated, and you’ve been very clear about what isn’t working for you in the app. I’m not here to debate your experience or defend decisions in a public thread. I am simply informing you of the progress we are making towards your feedback.
What you’re describing is very clear:
– You want the current inspection front and center when you open the app - this is in progress.
– You want faster, fewer-tap access to client and agent contact info, especially for calls - this is in progress
– You want a calendar view that’s actually useful for the day/week, not buried or starting at 1am - this will be in the next release
– You want to be able to drop a placeholder inspection quickly without unnecessary required fields - This has been resolved, only very few fields are required now.
Those are all fair expectations for a field app and when I marked this as being worked on now, I meant it.
I do work on this product, and feedback like this does get reviewed and prioritized, even when it’s blunt. I’m going to take what you’ve outlined here back to the team directly.
I won’t ask you to troubleshoot or explain more unless you want to.

Still Crap- in fact this lame ass responses makes it even more frustrating. Let me guess- you work for Porch. So frustrating. You guys build an app half way and then sit back and do nothing to fix the issues.

Following up with your email. Almost every time I open the app the “current” inspection is several days in advance. I want the current inspection displayed. Who cares about 3 days from now. To get to that inspection either I have to scroll through 10-15 inspections to find the current inspection or go to the calendar which starts at 1 am- who cares what is happening at 1 am. That calendar should start at a reasonable time 8:00 for example.
Next- the main reason why I need to access the crappy app is to get information about the inspection in a hurry- such as making contact with client or an agent. Half that time it isn't displayed or available. I should open the app see my clients name and click it and send a text/ email/ or call with minimum buttons. Almost all the time I need access to the sellers agent to call and there is no information or ability to call.
To schedule a quick inspection as a place holder is impossible. The app requires stupid information that I either don't know, or don't care to add. I just want to put in a place holder so no one else can schedule it. Lastly- the calendar should show me my inspections for the day/ week/ month. Something that is useful to look at and see what is open, see what is unscheduled, etc.
To me, this app is sub par at best. Go on the road, try to make a quick call to someone you don't know and look at the schedule for the day and advance and be able to make actions- not possible.

Adam Cotton - My name is Janaya and I am the Product Owner for the Native App. Firstly, thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. I would like to better understand some of the issues you’re running into so we can address them directly.
Login & Biometrics: The app is designed to support biometric login and credential storage, so what you’re describing shouldn’t be happening. Could you share a bit more about when you see this issue occur (for example, after an update, after a logout, or at random)? That will help us narrow down the cause.
Finding Inspections: Our intent is to make locating inspections straightforward, and from our perspective the current flow supports that. Since you mentioned it feels like too many steps, I’d like to learn more about how you’re navigating today and where it feels inefficient.
Agent Contact Info: The seller’s agent information is available in the app, though it does take a couple of clicks to reach. We’ll review ways to make this faster to access, especially for situations where you need it immediately.
I appreciate you raising these points. If you’re open to it, I’d like to continue this conversation so we can better understand your workflow and see where adjustments could make the app work better for you. Are you open to a phone call?
